Hi everyone we have just got back from 5 days in Blackpool weather was ok a bit cold on days but anyway we
mainly did this so we could blog here for you all so as far as Blackpool goes we all know its most famous for itsb
very own tower that was inspired by the Eiffel tower of Paris so here goes all you need to know about visiting
the famous tourist attraction if you drive here u can use Blackpool central car park this located near the central pier
when you first drive up to the car park it seems that it is closed due to the shutters being down these open when
you drive up to them as its a secure 24 hour.
the central pier is wheelchair accessible including the arcades but you have to access them from the back as there
are a few steps at the front disabled toilets on the pier but for some you will need a radar key if you would like to
stay for a drink on the pier the pirates bay family bar is all fully wheelchair accessible
the seal life center is fully accessible for most standard wheelchairs and mobility scooter but got the very large ones
these may not fit into the lift as is the same with madame tussauds and the rower itself
the golden mile amusements and coral island are both wheelchair accessible with food bars cafes and lots of family
fun but I must say that in coral island in the middle there is a short steep slope but it is manageable on our last
day we decided to go all out for lunch and we had Harry ramsdens fish and chips we had two starters main a soft drink
and one cocktail it was around 67 pounds in total it was pricey but it was excellent quality so we hope now that you have
some ideas for in and around Blackpool that you take the plunge and go visit like we say nothing is impossible next week
its going to be haven in Cleethorpes see you all soon lea lea
